  1. Introduction These Terms and Conditions apply to all courses provided by Changes for Stammerers Ltd. By enrolling in a course, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions. These terms ensure a smooth and clear understanding of both our responsibilities and your rights as a participant.
  2. Course Information Changes For Stammerers Ltd provides courses designed for adults who stammer. These courses are held in-person at hotel conference rooms, and support is also offered through follow-up sessions on the phone, WhatsApp video calls, and group discussions.
  3. Booking and Payment To secure a place on a course, you must complete an application form. Once the place is offered, a 50% deposit is required. The remaining balance is due one month before the course. If the course is less than a month away, payment must be made in full.
  4. Cancellations and Refunds
    • Cancellations made 60 days or more before the course: You will have the option to change your course date or receive a full refund.
    • Cancellations made between 14 and 60 days before the course: You will have the option to change your course date, but there maybe non-refundable hotel charges and any other non-refundable expenses already made, which will be discussed at the time of cancellation.
    • Cancellations made within 14 days of the course start date: No refund will be provided, but illness or unforeseen circumstances may be considered for rescheduling the course. However, any non-refundable hotel charges will need to be paid. This will be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
    • Cancellation by Changes For Stammerers Ltd: If for any reason the course is cancelled by Changes for Stammerers Ltd, we will offer an alternative course date or provide a full refund.
    • Cancellation due to illness or unforeseen circumstances: If you are unable to attend due to illness or other unforeseen circumstances, we can discuss the situation and offer the option to reschedule to another course date. This can be discussion on a case-by-case basis.
  5. Code of Conduct To maintain a positive and respectful environment, we expect the following from all participants and staff:
    • Treat others with respect, kindness, and sensitivity.
    • Maintain appropriate boundaries in both in-person and virtual interactions.
    • Communicate respectfully and avoid any discriminatory, abusive, or inappropriate language.
    • Listen actively and supportively to others, understanding that people may occasionally speak over one another.
    • Respect the confidentiality and privacy of others.

We encourage participants to share their experiences in a supportive manner and to be mindful of the feelings of others. Disruptive, aggressive, or harmful behavior will not be tolerated.

  1. Data Collection and Privacy By enrolling in a course, you agree to the collection of personal data for the purpose of course administration and support. We will share your details with the hotel for accommodation booking, but only with your consent. Your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and GDPR obligations.
  2. Reporting and Managing Concerns If you have any concerns related to the course or need support, you can contact the Designated Safeguarding Officer (DSO). We encourage you to speak up about any issues, and we will address them promptly and respectfully. All concerns will be handled with sensitivity and confidentiality.

  1. Limitation of Liability Changes for stammerers Ltd will not be liable for any indirect, special, or consequential damages arising from your participation in the course. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the course fee, which will be refunded in case of cancellation by Changes for stammerers Ltd.
  2. Changes to Terms Changes for stammerers Ltd reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated to participants via email or through our website.
  3. Miscellaneous
  • All participants must be aged 18 or over.
  • You agree to follow the instructions provided during the course and respect the course environment.
  • We reserve the right to remove participants from the course if they fail to follow the Code of Conduct or engage in disruptive or harmful behaviour.
